In African art, Bozos are famous for their brightly colored sculptures. They are particularly renowned for their depictions of fish of all sizes. However, some of them specialize in carving various animals that are important in their environment. The Bozos are a people who remain semi-nomadic to this day, moving their dwellings according to the seasons and water levels, upstream or downstream for some families. They often live on temporary islands created by reeds, or even partially create their own by draining the banks of an islet. They remain nomads, returning to their huts for a few months of fishing after the rainy season.
